The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at McGill University invites for a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, effective January 1, 2024. They are seeking an individual who will have a broad mandate to advance social science and pedagogical knowledge in sport and physical activity among children, adolescents, or youth. They welcome applicants with culturally diverse research expertise and/or intersectional approaches that include issues linked to mental health, disability, gender, race, or other areas of diversity. The candidate must hold a PhD degree (post-doctoral experience an asset) in the social sciences or related discipline, with an emphasis on sport, physical activity, and/or pedagogy for children, adolescents, or youth.
