The North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity (www.naspspa.com) will hold its annual meeting in the beautiful city of Vancouver British Columbia from June 11 to 13. The meeting will be accepting abstracts for consideration from December 2, 2019 until January 29, 2020 in the areas of motor development, motor learning/control, and sport and exercise psychology. The conference will start with pre conference symposia on Wednesday June 10 and will end on Sunday June 14 with a post-conference interactive session titled “Bridging the gap – translating research into practice.” The traditional conference sessions start Thursday morning at 8 am and will finish late on Saturday afternoon, followed by a party at the famous Vancouver Aquarium on Saturday evening. The Human Kinetics Lecture will be given by Zach Hambrick, Professor in the Department of Psychology and Director of The Expertise Lab at Michigan State University. Other keynote speakers are being finalized, but already include Karl Newell and Susan Fiske.
