PhD studentship in exercise psychology, University of Calgary

Meghan McDonough, Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Calgary is recruiting a PhD student in exercise psychology examining social support, social outcomes, inclusion, and physical activity behaviour in older adults and/or cancer survivorship.

Full funding for up to 4 years is provided by the Kinesiology Dean’s Doctoral Scholarship ($20,000/yr.) for a Canadian student. The successful candidate will be expected to apply and be competitive for external funding. The student will have a background in health, exercise, or sport psychology, kinesiology, or a related discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, social work, etc.), and will have successfully completed a thesis-based MSc program.
